I'M AN AUTHOR, CAN YOU SELL MY BOOK?
We’re proud to stock books that celebrate Black stories and voices. If you're an author who thinks your book would be a good fit, send a short pitch and a purchase link or press kit to info@onyxgiftsandbooks.com. We review submissions monthly and will reach out if we’re able to move forward.
DO YOU HOST POP-UPS?
If you’re interested in partnering on a pop-up, email us with info about your brand/book and links to your work at info@onyxgiftsandbooks.com. If it aligns with our values and calendar, we’ll be in touch.
CAN I HOST AN EVENT AT ONYX?
Yes! You can book a private after-hours shopping experience or reserve our space for your book club, small group, or creative circle. It’s a cozy way to gather, shop, and connect. Email us at info@onyxgiftsandbooks.com with your date, group size, and idea—we’d love to host you.
CAN YOU ORDER A BOOK FOR ME IF YOU DON'T HAVE IT IN STORE?
Yes! You can email us at info@onyxgiftsandbooks.com to request a book you’d like us to stock. You can also shop online anytime through Bookshop.org or Libro.fm to support Onyx while getting the books you love.
HOW LONG BEFORE MY ORDER SHIPS?
We ask to allow up to 3-5 business days before shipment.
An e-mail confirming your order and shipment will be sent to the e-mail address provided in the Billing information section.
You may experience shipping delays with carriers beyond Onyx Gifts and Books control. We appreciate your patience.

WHAT IS YOUR RETURN POLICY?
If you’re not 100% satisfied with your purchase*, return the unopened items to us within 10 days of delivery date for a refund.
*ALL Holiday items are FINAL SALE
CAN I RETURN OR EXCHANGE A SALE ITEM?
We do not accept returns/exchanges for sale items. These SALES ARE FINAL.
I ENTERED THE WRONG SHIPPING ADDRESS AT CHECKOUT, CAN THIS BE CHANGED?
Please check your shipping address for accuracy before finalizing your purchase. For any reason a shipping address is incorrect, this cannot be changed and this will result in order cancellation
MY TRACKING IS SAYING MY PACKAGE IS BEING RETURNED TO SENDER, CAN YOU SHIP BACK OUT?
Any item returned to our location due to an insufficient or incorrect address entered at checkout by the customer will be refunded.
WHAT IF I NEVER RECEIVED MY ITEM?
Onyx Gifts and Books is not responsible for any lost or stolen packages. If you believe the package to be lost or stolen, it is the customers responsibility to file a claim with the shipping carrier. Once claim is validated by the shipping carrier (including claim number), Onyx Gifts and Books will issue a refund equal to the value amount of the lost package.
MY PACKAGE HASN'T ARRIVED YET, IT SHOWS IT'S STILL IN TRANSIT?
Onyx Gifts and Books cannot provide additional shipping information beyond what's provided through tracking numbers once it is in the carriers possession.
WHAT IS YOUR CANCELLATION POLICY?
All cancellation requests must be received within 24 hours of placing your order.
